Derrick Alphons Coleman, Chairman
Derrick Coleman is a decorated veteran of the United States Air Force and a committed public servant, currently serving as an Equal Employment Opportunity Specialist with the Department of Defense. Born in Boston and raised in Lowell, Massachusetts, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force immediately after graduating from Lowell High School. His military service includes notable deployments in Operation: Inherent Resolve and Operation: Freedom Sentinel, where he demonstrated exceptional leadership and communication as a Staff Sergeant.
Derrick holds an Associate of Arts degree from Middlesex Community College in History, Politics, & Global Studies and is currently in dual pursuit of a bachelor's degree in economics, and a master's in organizational leadership from the University of Massachusetts. His academic pursuits reflect his passion for understanding complex systems and driving meaningful change within organizations. |
In addition to his professional and academic commitments, Derrick is an active member of the Massachusetts State Chapter of the Yankee National Party, where he serves as Chairman. He is dedicated to advancing grassroots efforts across the Commonwealth and is focused on establishing a legacy of trust, reliability, and innovation for future chapter leadership. Derrick’s vision includes creating a streamlined operational framework that empowers future leaders to effectively combat authoritarianism, drive party growth, and promote democratic values in the Commonwealth.
Outside of his professional and civic engagements, Derrick enjoys gardening, writing poetry, and indulging in his favorite video game, Crusader Kings 3. He resides in Shirley, Massachusetts, with his wife, Sara Jane, and their two beloved cats, Ousei and Cleo.
