Code of Ethics

Our Code

On my honor, I will uphold the Party’s core values, as defined by the YNP’s Charter. I will put others before myself in my service to my country and in my daily life. I will advocate for those who cannot advocate for themselves and speak out against injustice even when I know I stand alone. I will not partake in any activity that may bring discredit to the Party or to my fellow Party members, and I will avoid all conflicts of interest and disclose potential conflicts immediately. I refuse to use the Party or positions of public office for my own profit and reject corruption in government. I will oppose government ideology that stands in opposition to our essential values and will strive to always be inclusive and transparent in my work with the Party. I accept that a violation of this oath makes one unfit to be a member of this Party or a candidate thereof, and I will uphold this Code of Ethics in myself and hold my fellow Party members equally accountable.
We are the only political party that requires candidates and members alike to adhere to the same Code of Ethics, as stated above. Our commitment to Integrity and ethical behavior is one of the things that separates us most greatly from all political parties, most notably the two major parties whose history has been rife with unethical behavior. All our candidates are required to agree to follow the Code of Ethics prior to being endorsed for public office, even if they are not Party members themselves.
