About Our Endorsement Process

Our endorsement process has three steps: the successful completion of an Endorsement Application, the successful completion of an interview with our Endorsement Committee, and final endorsement vote by the Yankee National Party's National Committee or local State Central Committee.

Not sure if you should apply for our endorsement? Here's what you need to know as you make your decision:
  • You must generally align with our four core values of Independence, Democracy, Empathy, and Sustainability, and support a majority of our Platform.
  • Party membership is not required for endorsement to be given to a candidate. You may be a registered Republican, Democrat, Green, Libertarian, or an unaffiliated voter and still receive a Yankee National Party endorsement at this time.
  • We endorse candidates on a case-by-case basis, examining all their different beliefs and positions on the issues before making a decision. We respect your individual beliefs and encourage you to stay true to them, even if it ultimately means that we decide that the Yankee National Party's endorsement would not befit your candidacy.
  • Endorsements will be advertised on our website, and we will work with you to have the party label listed on the ballot, but you are not required to advertise our party in any way as part of your campaign efforts (though we encourage it)!
  • If endorsed, with your permission, we will work to raise money and attention to support your candidacy in a manner consistent with state and federal laws.

Featured Endorsed Candidate: Randy Dudek

Picture
On Wednesday, May 14, 2025, the Massachusetts Commonwealth Committee of the Yankee National Party (YNP) unanimously voted to endorse Randy Dudek, a first-time candidate for public office, to run for School Committee in his home community of Fall River.

When discussing his candidacy with the YNP, Randy said:

"As a dedicated Cybersecurity Analyst and first-time candidate for the Fall River School Committee, I am passionate about fostering a strong public education system that benefits our entire community. My journey began in a lower-middle-class suburb of Detroit, where I learned the value of hard work and community support. After graduating high school, I transitioned from a Computer Animated Design Technician to the I.T. field, ultimately becoming an Implementation Specialist and Software Trainer, which brought me to Massachusetts in 2011. This career progression not only honed my technical skills but also ignited my passion for empowering others through education.

"Since relocating to Fall River in 2021, I have become deeply invested in our community's diverse fabric. I believe that celebrating our differences is essential to our growth and success. I support a strong public school system, believing it to benefit the entire community. If elected, I would champion additional support for teachers and staff.

"My affiliation with the Yankee National Party reflects my commitment to independence, democracy, empathy, and sustainability—principles I aim to uphold as we navigate the challenges ahead. Together, I believe we can create a brighter future for our children and schools. Join me on this journey at randyis.online or connect with me on BlueSky at @dudek4ourschools.bsky.social.

"We’ll Try Together, and We’ll Succeed Together."

Outside of politics, Randy is a father of three, two of whom are currently enrolled in the Fall River public school system.

“Randy's vision for the future of education in Fall River is both inspiring and pragmatic. He is focused on implementing positive change, not just for students, but for teachers and support staff as well,” said Derrick Coleman, Chairman of the Massachusetts State Chapter of the YNP. “His slogan, ‘We’ll Try Together, and We’ll Succeed Together,’ encapsulates his belief in collective effort and collaboration. Randy is an incredibly driven and passionate individual, possessing a deep understanding of the needs and aspirations of Fall River's diverse student body.”

The Yankee National Party, the organization working with and endorsing Randy, is a center-left, social democratic, regional political party, standing for northeastern values and rights including Independence, Democracy, Empathy, and Sustainability. The YNP is founded as an anti-fascist, anti-racist organization and fervently opposes the authoritarian and unconstitutional trends of the federal government. The Party has recently begun organizing and is fielding its first candidates for public office in 2025. Despite having only launched in late 2024, the organization boasts several hundred registered members across New England and surrounding states and is working with multiple elected officials and prospective candidates across those states to organize and promote these values in the 2025 local elections.

The YNP is actively seeking interested citizens to join the movement, as volunteers, supporters, and candidates for public office, across Massachusetts and the rest of the northeastern states. Those interested in learning more information can click here.
