Jason Cramer, Chair
Jason Cramer grew up riding his bike around the small town of Propect, CT. He attended Holy Cross High School and went to LaSalle University in Philadelphia.
He owns a home renovation company based out of Bristol, CT. He is a ski instructor in the winter at the best learning mountain in the state, Mount Southington. He has been a loving husband for 18 years.
In 2025, he became obsessed with the idea of preparing New England for the potential break down of American society. He believes in New England civic duty, empathy for our neighbors, and a regional government that can set the example of good governance.
In his first term as Chair of the CT chapter, he hopes to expand the party base, and illuminate the path of non-violent regional autonomy for his friends and neighbors across New England.

Scout Crafts, Co-Vice Chair
Scout Crafts has spent their whole life in the Hartford area. They earned a bachelors in General Studies as a commuter student at the University of Connecticut. Scout returned to school to earn a Masters of Social Work from the University of Saint Joseph. After nearly a decade working with autistic individuals in residential, school, and community settings, Scout is currently employed in a hospital setting supporting individuals with developmental disabilities return to community care. Along with their day to day responsibilities, Scout helps to guide hospital wide clinical decision making as a member of the hospital’s Ethics Committee. In fact, Scout assisted with the re-launch of the Ethics Committee as well as the development and roll out of several other program expansions.
Scout is also an active member of their church, serving as the High School Youth Advisor and Young Adult Group Coordinator. Each fall, Scout volunteers as an 18th century ghost and leads tours of a local cemetery on behalf of the West Hartford Historcial Society. In their free time, Scout enjoys gardening, thread crafts, and meeting new animals.

Thatcher Richard, Co-Vice Chair & National Committee Delegate
A proud New Englander, Thatcher Richard has spent his life in CT and MA. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in History from Clark University in 2024, and continues his work of documenting the modern events of LGBTQ history currently happening in the United States.
In his free time, Thatcher likes spending time with his cat, playing video games, and keeping fish. He also takes great pride in being an amateur radio operator, and serves as a net control operator several times a week.

Joshua Steele Kelly, Treasurer & National Committee Delegate
Joshua Steele Kelly (Josh) grew up in Waterford, CT, and earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Wheaton College (MA) and his Master of Public Administration and Graduate Certificate in Public Financial Management by the University of Connecticut. He previously served as Town Manager & Chief Executive Officer for the Town of Winchester, CT, and before that he served as the Town of Bolton, CT's Town Administrator. Josh has served as the CEO of the Thames Valley Council for Community Action (TVCCA), a federally-designated community action agency charged with abolishing poverty in southeastern CT, since October 2023. TVCCA administers 30 different anti-poverty programs across eastern Connecticut with the help of approximately 400 employees and numerous subcontractors.

He serves as a member of the Board of Directors and as the Treasurer for Sustainable CT, a state-wide nonprofit dedicated to assisting municipal governments with improving their community’s sustainability in a multifaceted manner; he is the founder and Chair of the Wheaton College Model United Nations Alumni Association; and he is a founder and executive producer of the annual East Lyme Theatre Festival. In his spare time, you can find Josh performing on stage, reading, and hiking.

Cassandra Carter, Clerk
Cassandra Carter has been in the central Connecticut area since 2017. She grew up moving around the US due to her father being in the Air Force. She has a Bachelors in Communication from Fayetteville State University in North Carolina. Cassandra works as a buyer for a local family business.
Outside of work, she enjoys exploring different restaurants, museums, and shops around Connecticut and New England. She has always been interested in gardening,canning, and self sustainability.
